Commercial Insurance Assistant

Primary Job Location: Roseville, California 

 Job Purpose & Position Overview:  

Is responsible for establishing and inputting accounts into the company system and creating folders on the shared company drive. The Commercial Insurance Assistant will provide excellent service while upholding the core values of Panorama.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize strong interpersonal & communication skills to maintain and enhance relationships with brokers and retail insurance agents.  
  • Utilize strong data entry skills to establish accounts and input all account information into various systems.
  • Receive and process incoming emails for all communications, audit requests/notices, deposit invoices, overdue payment and payroll reminders, renewal solicitations, cancellations, endorsements, and reinstatement.
  • Proactively follow renewal submissions through the established process to assure quotes are provided promptly.  
  • Positively coordinate and handle administrative workflows with support teams to establish accurate and prompt response to service inquiries. Regularly update Agents on Panorama Dashboard access and share contact information for Data Teams and/or carriers.
  • Process all email requests for renewals that carriers send, updating the system once the policy is bound. 
  • Collaborate with current and new Agents to manage the business while addressing service and underwriting issues.
  • Collaborate with Agents to address questions concerning the policy, the state of new/renewal accounts, reasoning for rates, or to resolve conflicts and clarify issues.  
  • Trace, save, and compile comprehensive data from Agents and Underwriters.  
  • Represent the company with a positive, ethical, and professional attitude over the phone, in writing and in person.  
  • Multi-task in an ever-changing environment, while balancing collaboration with autonomy.

 Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required. 
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and agency management system experience (Applied EPIC, preferred) 

 Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: 

  • Applicable state-required Property & Casualty License encouraged.
