Junior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Primary Job Location: Roseville, CA, possibility of hybrid remote

Job Purpose & Position Overview:

A Junior Commercial Lines Account Manager will be the first point of contact and key to client satisfaction.  The Junior Account Manager will conduct superior customer service & communication while maintaining a partnership with the agent to support business and uphold Panorama’s core values.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather information through research and fact analysis including coordinating services and accurate preparation of necessary documents
  • Advise clients regarding policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance needs
  • Utilize strong interpersonal & communication skills to maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, agents, company representatives & co-workers
  • Prepare and submit applications to carriers, develop summaries, proposals, and provide technical support in coordination with agents
  • Efficiently review existing client accounts for the renewal process including client contact, remarketing, and proposals while consistently considering cross-selling opportunities
  • Follow all applicable binding procedures including accurate coverage, conditions, and limitations
  • Provide answers regarding coverage, deductible payment plans, and provide premium quotes & financing contracts
  • Issue insurance certificates, Evidence of Property binders, binders, and auto ID cards while preserving confidentiality
  • Efficiently enter and maintain accounts/policies in Agency Management System/EPIC while servicing and keeping current on suspense
  • Maintain licensing requirements & training, keep up to date on industry information, underwriting guidelines, new product information, coverage, and technology
  • Represent the company in a positive, ethical, and professional manner over the phone, in writing, and in person at all times
  • Multi-task in an ever-changing environment, while balancing collaboration with autonomy and excelling at teamwork

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Insurance Account Management experience
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and agency management system experience (Applied EPIC, preferred)
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Applicable state-required Property & Casualty License
  • CISR preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
